Kathryn Heins (Nana) was born to the family of Charles and Margaret (Holman) Guth. Nana was the mother of Peggy Heins who became Peggy Howard.
Nana was the grandmother of Joseph Charles Howard and Timothy Marion Howard, both of St. Louis. She was the great grandmother of Joseph Timothy Howard (son of Joby).
Nana was employed by Lane Bryant, Downtown St. Louis, as a ladies clothes buyer. Nana was a real looker and a very sweet Lady.
Nana taught me how to dress and bought me my first hat and a red vest! I always looked good thanks to Nana.
Nana's life was her grandchildren. She was proud of her boys and gave them anything they needed. This grandson remembers her like she was here yesterday. The love we had for Nana was very great and remains strong as I pay tribute to her in this memorial. The love Nana had for the Lord was just as strong as her love for Joby and Timmy. She was a member of the College Church in St. Louis.
Nana was the family baker at Christmas, fruit cake, rum balls, plum pudding and cookies, cookies and more cookies!
Nana was a sweet and loving lady!
