Married Bessie R. Ray on January 11, 1925 and she preceded him in death in 1985. Mr. Arensmeier was owner and operator of Arensmeier Motor Company in Keytesville for many years. He was a member of the Keytesville Christian Church for more than 60 years serving as an elder and deacon. He was also a member of the American Legion Rucker-McAllister Post in Brunswick.

Fred Arensmeier, 97, of Keytesville died Sunday at Pershing Memorial Regional Center in Marceline.
Born September 6, 1893, in Keytesville, he was a life long area resident. Mr. Arensmeier was owner and operator of Arensmeier Motor Company in Keytesville for many years. He was a member of the Keytesville Christian Church for more than 60 years, serving as elder and deacon. He was also a member of the American Legion Rucker-McAllister Post in Brunswick.
Surviving are a brother, Roy, state of California; sister, Christine Syler, Keytesville; and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mattie Arensmeier; his wife, Bessie R. Ray, in 1985, (they were married Jan. 11, 1925); two brothers and one sister.
Services were this afternoon at Berry Funeral Home in Keytesville. Burial was in Keytesville City Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the Keytesville Christian Church Memorial Fund.
