Obituary from the Tooele County "Deseret News" newspaper, dated Sunday, August 14, 1994:
Ross Lloyd Aagard, 61, died August 11, 1994 at his home.
Born June 10, 1933 at Fountain Green, Utah to Lloyd N. and Erma Rosquist Aagard. He married Janet Roberts in 1956, later divorced. Retired machinist at Kennecott Copper Corp. Served in the United States Air Force. Survived by children: Shanna and Bill Millgate, Dallas; Aagard brothers and sisters, Gary, Pat Richins and Sherrie Jorgensen; grandchildren: Jared and Asheigh Millgate; Austin and Stevi Aagard.
He was a dear friend to many.
Graveside services will be held Monday 2 p.m. at the Lake Point Cemetery. Friends may call at Peel Funeral Home, 8525 West 2700 South, Magna, Monday 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

A horse and a stirrup is etched in the upper left and lower right corner of his marker, respectively.
