Edward Hooper Abbe, b. in New Bedford, May 27, 1864; d. at Atlantic City, N. J., Jan. 16, 1915. He was a physician and was a member of the Sons of the Revolution. Buried in New Bedford.

Married (1) Sept., 1889, Lillian Jane Prescott, b. 1866, d. in New Orleans, Sept. 15, 1914, buried in Rockville, Md. She was the daughter of Edward B. and Mary R. ( ) Prescott of Rockville.

Child : Prescott, b. in New Bedford, Sept., 1890.

They separated and he m. (2) July 10, 1901, in Washington, D. C, Mary Hunter Duncan, of Washington.
