Georgia, USA
Death: Mar. 24, 1984

Grandmother grew up on farm and married another Farmer when she was very young. She live through WWI and WWII - She lost her oldest Child, a son in WWII when he was 23 - She and Grandfather had seven children. They would lose the first child when he was just 7 or 8 years old. Soon after losing her Second Son to the War, she would lose her husband (my granddaddy). When Granddaddy died, she still had a baby less than two years old and a daughter seven years old. She was pleased to have two older sons who could help her as well as my Mom and Dad could even though they had a child of their own as well. However Daddy himself was shipped off to Europe and would be gone until 1945. Grandmother was so talented - she taught herself to play the piANA and the guitar and she had a beautiful voice. She could sew, crochet, quilt, cook, garden all on a very small budget. She was a miracle worker. She died at the age at the age of 81 due to diabetic complications. We all miss and love her SO -
