The Adams family, whose home is due east of this cemetery, at the corner of Main Street and Tinkham Road. Deacon David Adams was also the grandson of John Adams who was also a Deacon. Adams Cemetery was originally known as The Burying Ground, Old Yard and the Center Cemetery.
