Walter graduated from Nashua High School in 1913. Walter served in the Navy (Ensign) during World War I primarily in Newport ,Rhode Island. Walter retired in 1961 as Treasurer and Director of Nashua Corporation having worked there about fifty years. Walter was a trustee of Edgewood Cemetery from 1956 to 1961. Walter loved the beach, ocean, golfing, curling, and his family.
