He was born May 9, 1870, in Germany, coming to this country at the age of 13 years, and being engaged for several years with his brother, Julius Abraham, in business in what is now Bellingham, Washington.

Fraternally, he was a member of nearly all of the leading orders of the city, including the Masonic, Elks, I.O.O.F., Woodmen and Eagles lodges. He was an active worker in the Roseburg chamber of commerce.
Mr. Abraham was married at Portland, March 15, 1894, to Miss Eva Day. Surviving are the widow and two daughters, Mrs. Faye Lawrence of San Diego and Mrs. Bernice Fessler, Roseburg, and two grandchildren, Gerald Abraham Fessler and Evafaye Fessler.
It is planned to hold funeral services at 2 p. m. Sunday, but definite arrangements have not been made. The body was removed to the Roseburg Undertaking company parlors.
