Raymond J. Zywicke, 54, of 1315 Washington St. , Manitowoc, died Thursday at
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at
10 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Alfred Pritzl will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Zywicke was born March 16, 1911, at Rosholt, Wis., son of Mrs. Laura
Gaytowski Zywicke and the late Leo Zywicke. He married Mary Baumann Feb. 5, 1934
at Manitowoc, and had been employed by Garland Steamship Co. until retiring in
1964 because of ill health.
Survivors are the wife, four daughters, Mrs. Robert L. Krause, Mrs. Quirin Swetlik
and Mrs. Ralph Klein of Manitowoc and Miss Diane at home; a son, David Lee at home;
four sisters, Mrs. Anton Baumann of Manitowoc, Mrs. Edward Strugalla of Chicago,
Mrs. Oscar Hopp of Eau Claire and Mrs. Oscar Kohler of Sherman Oaks, Calif., two
brothers, Herman and Edwin of Stevens Point; and seven grandchildren. A son and
two brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where at 7:30 p.m. the
Rosary will be recited by the parish and Daughters of Isabella.
