EUGENE ZIGLINSKI
Eugene Ziglinski, 73, of 316 North Avenue A, Casa Grande, Arizona, died Friday, Feb. 24, at his residence.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Jens Funeral Home and 11 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Theodore Hendricks will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Military graveside services accorded by American Legion Post NO. 88.
Mr. Ziglinski was born Feb. 20, 1911, at Manitowoc, son of the late Dr. Norbert T. and Ella Rathsack Ziglinski. He attended schools in Manitowoc. Mr. Ziglinski attended Beloit University, Iowa University and the University of Illinois. He married Ruth Schwab on July 6, 1963, at Manitowoc. She preceded him in death in 1976. He was a custodian for Manitowoc Public School System at Lincoln High School for 42 years, retiring in 1974. Mr. Ziglinski was a past worthy president of Manitowoc Eagles Aerie 706 and Two Rivers Eagles Aerie 2433. He was a member of Past Presidents Club of the State of Wisconsin. He was a life member of the Grand Aerie of Eagles, member of Elks Valley Lodge No. 1957 of Casa Grande, Arizona and a member of Americal Legion Post No. 88.
Survivors include cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday until the time of services. Prayer service Monday evening at 7 p.m. and Eagles Aerie Memorial Service at 7:30 p.m.
