OTTILLIE "TILLIE" YOUNG

Mrs. Ottillie Young, 81, of 1405 S. Eighth St., Manitowoc, died at 11:30 a.m.
Thursday at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc. She had been ill two weeks.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Stephen B. Olney will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery.
Mrs. Young was born July 3, 1881, in Germany and came to the United States as
a small child with her parents. She was married June 28, 1898, to Herman
Schroeder and the couple settled in Manitowoc County. He died Oct. 27, 1906.
She was married to Casimir Young who died May 20, 1933. The past 22 years she
had been a housekeeper at the Elmer Bleck residence, 1405 S. Eighth St.
Surviving her are three daughters, Mrs. John Milton of Ingelwood, Calif., Mrs.
Melville R. Thomson Jr., of Whitelaw and Miss Leone Wenner of Milwaukee; a son,
Melvin of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Mrs. Roland Grimm of Manitowoc, Mrs.
Mary Liebert of Sheboygan and Mrs. Alma DuFresne of Green Bay; seven grand-
children and six great grand children. A son, Roy, died in October of 1948.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday.
