Carl M. Young, 51, a resident of the city for several years, died this morning
at the Holy Family hospital, following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Urbanek and Schlei
funeral home, the Rev. Carroll Hinderlie officiating. Burial will be in Ever-
green cemetery.
Mr. Young was born in Sweden in 1895 and came to this city when a young man.
He also was engaged in farming near Superior for some years. In recent years
he was employed at the Manitowoc Ship Building company and roomed at the home
of Mrs. Kate Buresh of 1015 Chicago street. He was a member of the boilermakers
union.
Survivors are two brothers, living in Sweden.
The body may be viewed after Tuesday noon at the funeral home.
