JoAnn Yindra, age 56, of 1704 Lilac Dr., Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning, March 16,
1993, at the Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, March 19, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home,
and 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Presiding the Mass of
Christian burial will be the Rev. William Zimmer, with burial to follow at the
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former JoAnn Bleser, was born May 27, 1936, at Green Bay, daughter of the late
Ben and Mildred Slatky. She married Harvey Yindra on January 8, 1955, at Kellnersville.
Mr. Yindra was employed as a beautician for many years until her retirement. She was
a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husband, Harvey, Manitowoc; a son and daughter-in-law, Randy
and Mary Sue Yindra, Manitowoc; a daughter and son-in-law, Terri and Robert Rexrode,
Brillion; a brother-in-law and his spouse, Joe and Jane Yindra, Cato; two sisters-in-
law, Mary Kakuk, Manitowoc, and Bette Yindra, Milwaukee; nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends survive.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 5-8:30 p.m. Thursday, where a prayer
service will be held at 7 p.m. by Father Zimmer.
