Monday afternoon while driving his car east on Franklin Street, Manitowoc.
He was prounounced dead on arrival at Holy Family Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Saur Funeral Home,
Kellnersville. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Yanda was born July 18, 1869, in the Town of Franklin, son of the late
Jacob and Mary Havlovitz Yanda. On May 16, 1917, he married the former Staze
Hynek. They settled on the family farm in the Town of Kossuth until 1947
when they retired and moved to Rockwood.
Survivors include his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Ervin Baum of Two Rivers; a
sister, Mrs. Jacob Johanek of Manitowc and a grandson. A brother Joseph,
preceded him in death in 1953.
