Ivis L. Wusterbarth, age 82, a resident of River Hills Apartments, Manitowoc, died early Saturday morning, March 26, 2005, at Kindred Hearts Assisted Living Center, Manitowoc. Ivis was born on May 14, 1922, in the township of Stiles, daughter of the late Frank E. and Sara (Beaucock ) Ward. She attended Stiles Public Schools where she graduated with honors. On August 1, 1945, Ivis married Clinton "Chick" Wusterbarth. He preceded her in death on March 4, 1982. Ivis was a member of the Manitowoc Eagles Club Aerie No. 706. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Dayton and Debra Wusterbarth, Manitowoc; three granddaughters, Jill Wusterbarth and special friend Mark Backhaus, Branch, Wendy and George Luckow, Shoto, Natalie Wusterbarth and special friend Scott Pyrz, Chicago, Ill.; two great-grandchildren, Shayla and Jacob Luckow; one brother and sister-in-law, Leland and Nita Ward, Mequon; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Margaret & Harold Cain, Oconto; Jane Lade, Oconto; Hazel Redlin, Pulaski; Helen Deno, New Orleans, La. Nieces, nephews other relatives and friends also survive. Ivis was preceded in death by one son, Clinton C. Wusterbarth; one brother, Frank Ward Jr.; one infant sister; two sisters and five brothers-in-law, Marion and Mike Mathies, Katie and Fritz Bellow, Martin Lade, Harold Redlin, and Alvin Deno. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2005, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Robert Beehner. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. The family will greet relatives and friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday evening, March 28, 2005, at the Pfeffer Funeral Home and Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the VNA Hospice, especially Linda Bauknecht RN, and Kindred Hearts for all their loving care given to Ivis and her family.
