Wuellner, Linda M.

Linda M. Wuellner, of Manitowoc, died peacefully Friday evening, August 22, 2014 at Shady Lane Nursing Home, Manitowoc.

Linda was born November 4, 1909 in the Town of Maple Grove, daughter of the late John and Laura (Schnell) Haese. She graduated from Mishicot High School with the class of 1927. On November 11, 1933 she was united in marriage at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot to George H. Wuellner. He preceded her in death on February 13, 1983.

Linda was a longtime member of the Manitowoc YMCA and was a Mishicot High School Alumni Association member.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Mary Jane & James Kitzerow, Manitowoc; Barbara & Robert Plappert, Manitowoc; five grandchildren: Amy (Richard) Kangas, Mark (Denise) Kitzerow, Timothy (Carol) Kitzerow, Sarah (Erik) Zeinemann, Tad Plappert; 6 great grandchildren: Paige, Caleb, Alexander, Chloe, Kyle and Annalise. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Linda was preceded in death by an infant daughter Beverly Wuellner; sister and brother-in-law Verna and Martin Cain; and two brothers and sisters-in-law Harold and Mildred Haese and Clarence and Lucille Haese.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 30, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall (1114 So. 21st Street). Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Dave Pleier with burial to take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc following the service.

The family will greet relatives and friends at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall from 8:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m.
