WILLIAM A. WOPP

William A. Wopp Sr., 79, formerly of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening
in Chilton Village, Chilton.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Urbanek and Schei (sic) Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Ken Fisk will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Wopp was born July 5, 1898, in Belgard, Pommerin, Germany, son of the late
Fred and Anna Brandt Wopp. He married Charlotte Puchalski March 20, 1923 in
Germany. They came to the United States in 1923 and settled in Milwaukee. She
preceded him in death Nov. 2, 1974. He was employed as a baker until his
retirement in 1974. Mr. Wopp was a member of F.O.E. Aerie 706, Manitowoc.
Survivors include a son, William F. of Wausau; three daughters, Mrs. Robert
(Edith) Price of Two Rivers, Mrs. William (Marge) Drumm of Manitowoc and Miss
Charlotte Ann Wopp of Long Branch, N.J.; a brother, Walter Wopp of Beaver Dam,
13 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, a niece and a nephew. A son, John,
a sister and a grandson preceded him in death.
Friends may call in Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home after 4 o'clock this Friday
evening and Saturday until the time of service.
