Funeral services for John Paul Wopp (photo), 29, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Wopp Sr.
of Rt. 1, Valders, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church. Rev. L.H. Koeninger officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery
with graveside military rites by the American Legion. Wopp, a World War II veteran with
the air force, was killed Tuesday night when his car plunged over a mountain precipice
at Deer Lodge, Mont., while he was enroute home from Spokane, Wash.
Friends may call at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home from 3 p.m. Sunday to 10:30 a.m.
Monday when the body will be moved to the church to lie in state until time of service.
