William Willey Dead - William Willey, for many years a resident of Emmons and Burleigh counties, died at the hospital last night after a brief illness. Deceased was born in Pennsylvania, and was about 80 years of age. He was a veteran of the civil war, serving a three year term in the 26th Ohio Infantry, re-enlisting in the same regiment in January 1864, and was mustered out at the close of the war. He was a member of James B. McPherson Post, G. A. R., joining in December 1888. He was for many years a resident of Emmons county, where he was engaged in farming, which occupation he was forced to abandon a few years ago on account of failing health, and came to this city to reside. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at the M. E. church, under the auspices of the G. A. R.
