Norman A. Wier, age 82, of 1424 N. 7th St., Manitowoc, died on Tuesday, Dec. 8,
2009, at his residence.
Norm was born on Aug. 17, 1927, in Manitowoc, son of the late Alois and Barbara
(Rohde) Wier. He was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. He married the
former Mary Jane Baroun in 1950 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Kellnersville.
Norm was employed with the Mirro Aluminum Co. for over 43 years and retired as
a general foreman. He held numerous associate degrees and was a past president
of the Mirro Management Club. Norm was also a member of the Mirro Scholarship
Committee and the National Management Association. Norm was a member of St.
Francis of Assisi, Manitowoc. He especially enjoyed spending time with his
grandson and his great-granddaughter.

He was also preceded in death by two sons: David and James; and one grandson:
Tyler.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc
on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, from 1 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009, at the Pfeffer
Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Robert Drobka
with burial to take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc at a later date.
