LOUISE WIEBOLDT

Mrs. Louise Wieboldt passed to her reward at her home on Washington Street at
an early hour Sunday morning, at the age of 61 years. She had been ill for some
time, but up to a late hour Saturday evening, no serious alarm was left for her
condition and her death was a shock to friends of the family. Born in Mecklenberg,
Germany, February 8, 1838 she came with her parents to this country when yet a
child. She was married to P. W. Wieboldt and they moved to this city where she
has since resided. Her husband died January 15, 1893, exactly two years previous
to her demise and was at the time of his death, exactly the same age. Three
children survive her, Charles, Ernestina and William, all residents of this
city.
Mrs. Wieboldt was a home woman and it was in the home circle that her true nobility
of character maintained itself. Her own fireside was the dearest spot on earth to
her and her every effort and life's ambition was to brighten and make happier the
lives of those who made up the family circle. That she will be missed by the loved
ones is but natural but there is comfort and consolation in the knowledge of a life
work well done. The bereaved children have the sympathy of the entire community.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 2 o'clock.
