Doris E. Whitney, 94, passed away on Feb. 23, 1994, at a local hospital. Born Sept. 4, 1899, in Purdy, Mo. Member of Order of the Eastern Star-Pueblo Lodge No. 7. Proceeded in death by her husband, Edd Whitney in 1961; daughter, Zelma Champlain; and her grandson, Ike Sanders. Survived by her daughter, Hazel (Leon) Morris, Pueblo; one sister, Vivian Case, Joplin, Mo. Also survived by three grandchildren, and one great-grandson. Viewing 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Imperial Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside service, 1 p.m. on Friday in the Garden of Hillcrest, Imperial Memorial Gardens.
