White, 68, Overland Park, Kan., died Saturday, April 7, 2007, surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born January 3, 1939, in Dorchester, Mass., and had lived in the Kansas City area since 1980. He had worked for International Harvester as a sales manager in the northeast district for the Navistar Truck Division retiring in 1994. He then worked at the Johnson County Central Library as a clerk for nine years. He was an Army veteran, having served in the Army Security Agency in Japan. He was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ann M. White, of the home; five children: son, Joseph M. White of Merriam, daughter-in-law Michele and grandchildren, Keith and Nicole, son, Paul D. White of Shawnee, daughter-in-law Sandy and grandchildren, Sam and Katie, daughter, Jean A. Whitenack of Lenexa, son-in-law Stu and granddaughter Olivia, son, Richard White of Lincoln, Calif., daughter-in-law Rachel and grandchildren Charlotte and Joe, daughter, Marie A Hunley of Mission, Kan., and a large extended family. Joe watches over us with a coffee and doughnut in hand.
