ELLA GEORGE WHITE died at the home of a son CHELLIS E. WHITE, Sr in Kirksville MO Saturday. She was born 15 May 1857 in Virginia, came with her parents to Illinois, settling near Blandinsville. Married NOBLE L. WHITE 13 Nov 1884 in Fountain Green IL who died 12 Feb 1922. 2 children born, Chllis E. and VERA who died 23 April 1889. Brother L.F. GEORGE of Blandinsville also survives. ELLA WHITE DIES AT HOME OF SON HERE
Funeral Services Will Be Held This Afternoon.

Mrs. Ella (George) White died at the home of her son, Chellis E. White at 307 E. Jefferson street yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Mrs. White had been in failing health two years. She suffered a stroke on Wednesday evening of last week.
Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Summer and Powell Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. F. P. Hanes, pastor of the Methodist Church. Interment will be in Highland Park cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Summers and Powell Funeral Home.
Mrs. While was born May 25, 1859, in Virginia and came with her parents to Illinois and settled near Blandinsville. She was married to Noble L. White. Nov 13, 1884, Fountain Green, Ill. Two children were born to this union, ore son, chellis E. White, of Kirksville, and one daughter, Vers, who died April 23, 1889. Her husband preceded her in death Feb. 12, 1922.
Surviving are her son and one brother, L. F. George, of Blandinsvllle, Illinois.
Mrs. White was unconscious for several hours preceding her death and did not know of the death of her only grandson, Chellis G. White, Portsmouth, N H., Friday.
