Opal Neoma Sheets Wheeldon, 78 years, two months, 15 days, daughter of Charles and Cora Ellen Sheets, was born September 10, 1899, in Dallas County. On August 19, 1916, she was united in marriage to Morris Hershel Wheeldon. To this couple came her children, Ralph Wheeldon of De Soto, Dorothy Stanley of Earlham, Marie Jay of Tustin, California, Richard Wheeldon of Earlham, Betty Boy of Earlham, Jean Boots of Atlantic, Mary Travis of Westminster, Califorina and Ellen Thompson of Lorimore.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, husband, and son, Bobby of Albuquerque, New Mexico. At the time of her death, November 25, she was living in Madison Manor Nursing Home in Winterset.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 28, at the Fisher Funeral Home in Van Meter. Pastor Glenn Moore officiated. Grandsons acted as pall bearers: Rodney Boyd, Richard Wheeldon, Jr., Steve Boots, Jody Thompson, Joe College and Charles Wheeldon. Interment was in the Booneville Cemetery.
