Jearlene M. Werner, age 92, of 960 S. Rapids Road, Manitowoc, died Wednesday,
March 21, 2001, at River's Bend Health & Rehabilitation Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 23, 2001, at First
Reformed United Church of Christ. Officiating will be Rev. Richard Runge.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Jearlene was born November 24, 1908, in Two Rivers, daughter of the late Emil
and Anna Klose. She married Theodore Werner on June 25, 1927, in Two Rivers.
He preceded her in death in 1971. She was a member of First Reformed United
Church of Christ, Manitowoc.
Survivors include her son Merlin E. Werner; six grandchildren, Terry Werner,
Chicago, Eric and Sheryl Werner, Manitowoc, Randy Werner, Manitowoc, Connie
O'Bryan, Jacksonville, Fla., Gail and Danny Franco, Manitowoc, Tina Werner,
Manitowoc; nine great-grandchildren, Casey, Cameron, Carrigan, Dereck, Cherie,
James, Curtis, Caitlin, and Emma; two step great-grandchildren, Kimberly and
Rachael; one daughter-in-law, Beverly Werner, Manitowoc; one sister-in-law,
Viola Behnke, Manitowoc. Besides her parents and her husband, Theodore, she
was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter; brothers-in-law and sisters-
in-law.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service
at 11 a.m. at First Reformed United Church of Christ.
