MARTHA H. WENNDORF

Martha H. Wenndorf, age 92, formerly of 1806 Viebahn St. Manitowoc, died Friday
Jan. 31, 2003 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003 at First
Reformed United Church of Christ, Manitowoc. The Rev. Richard Runge will officiate.
Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Martha was born March 15, 1910 in Newton, Wis., daughter of the late John and
Maria Rambadt Rosso. On June 20, 1936 Martha married George Wenndorf in Newton,
he preceded her in death in 1957. Martha was employed at Anderson Electric for
28 years until her retirement in 1985. She was a member of First Reformed United
Church of Christ, Women's Guild and Church Choir. She was a Consistory member,
Deacon, Elder, and delegate to the Wisconsin Conference. Martha was a Sunday
School Teacher, and later Church School Superintendent. She was also a Elks
Ladies Auxiliary Member.
Survivors include one stepdaughter and son-in-law, June and William Walker,
Scottsdale, Ark.; one sister Bertha Gorman, Manitowoc; grandchildren, great-
grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends also survive. Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her husband
George; three sisters, Elsie Stock, Norma Wenndorf, Frieda Bechmann.
Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003 at First Reformed United
Church of Christ from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Memorials may
be made to First Reformed United Church of Christ.
The Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with funeral
arrangements.
