Ex-Light Staffer Dies
Services will be held in Austin Tuesday for Mrs. Kathryn T. Windler, Sr., 66, of Austin, former assistant society editor of The Light.
Mrs. Wendler died Sunday in Austin.
She attended Ursuline Academy and the University of Texas and was a founder of St. Monica's Guild in San Antonio. She had been associated with the Texas Medical Library for 16 years.
Her late husband, Kenneth S. Wendler Sr., was once city editor at The Light.
Survivors include sons, Kenneth Wendler Jr. and Ed T. Wendler, and daughter, Mrs. Sam Kelly, all of Austin; brothers, Leo and Harold Tynan, and sister, Mrs. William Davis, all of San Antonio.
