Mamie Eleanor Webb, 99, died Aug. 28, 2003, at her home in Cave Creek. She was born in Topeka, Kan., and moved with her family to Tucson where she attended the University of Arizona.
She married Carroll Council Webb on July 24, 1926, in Miami and resided in Miami until 1999 when she moved to Cave Creek to be near family. She was active in a number of organizations including Zonta, the Literary club, and several art groups and was an accomplished artist, photographer and painter who ran her own jewelry business, Ariglo.
Survivors include one daughter, Joan Dodd of Cave Creek; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Helen Webb of Billings, Mont.; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was conducted at Mountain View memorial Gardens in Mesa.
