Mr. Weaver had two daughters, Lonie and Mattie, and one son Lester. Weaver suicided at Mr. Everett's place in Illinois Bend because of immense debts. He left three letters to wife and associates. His obituary and the letters were published on the front page in The Daily Hesperian on April 11, 1897. They can be read at The Portal to Texas History website.
