LEONA EMMA VOSS

Leona E. Voss, age 76, a Manitowoc resident, died Monday, Dec. 16, 2002 at Holy
Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, 2002 at The Pfeffer
Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will
be Deacon Al Boeldt with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born Jan. 25, 1926, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Charles and Louise
Henschel Boeldt. Leona was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. On Jan. 3,
1948, she married Paul L. Voss in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death March 7,
1979. Leona was employed at Holy Family Hospital for many years.
Survivors include her children and their spouses: Leon and Cheryl Voss, Manitowoc;
Anne and Tom Tegen, Chanhassen, Minn.; Paul and Judy Voss, New Smyrna, Fla.;
Mary Voss and Jon Hermann, Manitowoc; nine grandchildren: Mike Voss, Kristin
Voss, Elizabeth, Ted and Bridgett Tegen, Jim (Nikki) Griffin, Matt Griffin,
Gretchen Klein and Jonah Hermann; a sister: Lorraine Krouse, Manitowoc; and a
brother: Wilbur Boeldt, Seattle, Wash. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other
relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Carley and
Lester.
The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation
Care Center, Manitowoc, from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday where a prayer service will be
held at 7:30 p.m. led by Deacon Al Boeldt. Friends may also call Friday morning at
The Pfeffer Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m.
Our Leona will be deeply missed. We will forever remember her kind heart, beautiful
smile, and above all her wonderful quick wit.
