INVALID DIES AT HER SON'S
Mrs. Otto Vollendorf, 69, To be Buried Saturday
Mrs. Otto Vollendorf, 69, died Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the home
of her son, Marvin Vollendorf, 921 South 20th street. She had been an invalid
for years.
The body was removed to the residence late this afternoon from the Pfeffer
funeral home. Services will be held there Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev.
Paul Blaufuss in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Vollendorf's maiden name was Augusta Luschow. She was born at Lake Mills,
Wis., Feb. 14, 1865. Forty-eight years ago she was married to Mr. Vollendorf
at Marion, Wis. They came here to make their home and they also resided at
Kaukauna for several years. They returned to Manitowoc in 1900. Mr. Vollendorf
died in 1926.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. William Krainik, Manitowoc; four sons, John,
William and Marvin, Manitowoc, and Dr. Harvey, Sheboygan; two brothers, John
Hoeppner, Wausau, and Walter Hoeppner, Glennie, Mich.; one sister, Mrs. Andrew
Miller, Merrill, Wis.; and nine grandchildren.
