Mrs. Reuben (Ludmilla C.) Voigt, 74, of 920 E. Birch Ave., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Sunday morning, April 19, at her home.
Funeral servies will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wesley United Methodist Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. David A Passet will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Voigt, nee Ludmilla Truttschel, was born June 17, 1906, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Arthur and Bertha Ladwig Truttschel. She grew up and was educated at Manitowoc and was a resident of Manitowoc County all her life. She was married to Reuben G. Voigt Aug. 5, 1931, at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death Oct. 1, 1951. She had been employed at Schuette Bros. Department Store many years, retiring in 1976. Mrs. Voigt was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and Ladies Guild of the church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Dolores Voigt of Cleveland, S.C.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Forrest Hubbard of Lansing, Ill., Marilyn and Donald Pagels of Two Rivers and Diana and Michael Brull of Manitowoc; two brothers, E. Bert Truttschel of Manitowoc and Paul Truttschel of Florida; 14 grandchildren and a great grandson. Nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Monday afternoon until 11 a.m. Tuesday, then at the church from noon until the time of service.
