Mrs. Fred Vogelsang, 82, of 1013 South Eighth street, wife of the late Fred
Vogelsang, veteran furniture dealer and undertaker in this city, died this
morning.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Urbanek and Schlei
funeral home, the Rev. A. C. Fischer officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen
cemetery.
Mrs. Vogelsang, nee Kattie Hay, was born in 1866 and in 1888 was married to
Mr. Vogelsang. He died 16 years ago. She was a member of the Eastern Star and
the Ladies Aid society of the First Reformed church.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. John Stevens of this city; son, Arnold of this
city; brother, William Hay and sister, Mrs. Charles Anderson, both of San
Diego, Calif,; four grandchildren and a great grandchild.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home after Friday noon.
