EDWARD VOGELSANG, WELL KNOWN MAN OF CITY,
DIED AT AGE OF 34 AFTER ILLNESS OF SEVERAL MOS
Edward Vogelsang, son of Mrs. Carolina Vogelsang, South Sixteenth
street, well known young man of the city, died at the hospital early
today, following an illness of several months due to complications,
heart and liver trouble. Mr. Vogelsang had been at the hospital several
weeks. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon.
Mr. Vogelsang was 34 years of age, having been born at Rapids Aug. 6,
1883. He had made his home here all his life and was unmarried. Besides
his mother, he is survived by two brothers, William and Fred and three
sisters, Mrs. Fred Behm, this city; Mrs. E. Prehm and Mrs. H. Strodthoff,
of Rapids.
