Paul A. Virgil, 77, of MacArthur Avenue, died at 8 p.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center after an illness. Mr. Virgil retired from T. George Podell Construction Co. as a clerk. He was born February 1, 1918, in South Bend. On May 8, 1954, in South Bend, he married Virginia M. Rozewicz. She survives with two sons, James F. of Mishawaka and Thomas M. of South Bend; a granddaughter; and a sister, Marjorie Ann Virgil of South Bend. He was a graduate of Acme School and Tool and Die and was a veteran of World War II.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday in Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3402 Lincoln Way W.
