Pansy Faye Vipperman

Pansy Vipperman, age 95, of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., passed away June 17, 2007. She was born on Oct. 1, 1911, in Crumpler, W.Va., to D.G. and Emma Bailey. Mrs. Vipperman was a resident of Walton County. She was Methodist by faith.

Mrs. Vipperman was preceded in death by her father and mother; her husband, Clyde Vipperman; two sons, Blaine and Jerry Vipperman; one granddaughter, Elaine Brooks; two brothers, Vern and Bob Bailey; and one sister, Mable Campbell.

Mrs. Vipperman is survived by her two sons, Jack Vipperman, and John Vipperman and wife Judy; three daughters, Nancy Bandy and husband Jack, Dee Busby and husband Jim, and Pat Malloy and husband Lynton; one daughter-in-law, Sally Vipperman; one brother, Basil Bailey and wife Alice; nine grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Clary-Glenn Funeral Home, 230 Park Ave., DeFuniak Springs.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 20, in the chapel of Clary-Glenn Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Dixon officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Beal Memorial Cemetery in Fort Walton Beach with the Rev. Steve Winton officiating.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life reception immediately following the burial at the Mary Esther United Methodist Church, 703 East Miracle Strip Pkwy., Mary Esther, Fla.

Floral arrangements are being accepted, or donations may be sent to the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Building Fund, 5064 Highway 1883, DeFuniak Springs, FL 32433; or to the Emerald Coast Hospice, 131 East Redstone Ave., Suite 110, Crestview, FL 32539.
