Mrs. Veona Vipperman
Mrs. Veona Cordelia Vipperman, 76, 502 Johns-
town Rd., died at her home at 1:10 a.m. today
after a long illness.
Born in Patrick County, Va., April 16, 1886, she
was a daughter of the late David V. and Letha V.
Hall Conner. She was a life time resident of Raleigh
County and a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, M. T. Vipperman;
4 daughters, Mrs. M. M. (Virginia) Powers, and Mrs.
A. W. (Margaret) Lilly, both of Beckley; Mrs. Jack
(Anna) Carper, Mabscott, and Mrs. Joe (Agnes)
Heatherman, Princeton; a son, D. E., Sweeneys-
burg; a brother, Carlot V. Conner, Oxford, Mich.,
15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m.
Wednesday in the First Christian Church with the
Rev. A. H. Wilson in charge.
Burial will be in the Calfee Cemetery, Mount
Tabor.
The body will be taken from the Calfee Funeral
Home to the church one hour before the services.
