Stephanie Lynn Vilhauer, 20, of Sheridan died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003, in Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County. Private family services will be at a later date. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Ms. Vilhauer was born June 7, 1983, in Sheridan to Del and Kathy (Leupold) Vilhauer. The family moved to Arizona in 1985, then to Colorado. They returned to Sheridan in 2000, and Ms. Vilhauer graduated from Sheridan High School in 2001. She attended Sheridan College for one year. She was a veterinary assistant for Sheridan Animal Medical Center in Sheridan. She loved animals and enjoyed fishing, horseback riding and photography. Survivors include her parents, of Sheridan; two brothers, Kyle and Justin, both of Sheridan; her maternal grandparents, Jan Leupold of Tulsa, Okla., and George Leupold Sr. of St. George, Utah; paternal grandparents Darwin and Helen Vilhauer of Strang, Neb.; and great-grandmothers Nettie S. Jackman of Tulsa and Elva Knudson of Irene, S.D.
