Mrs. Walter Vetting, 64, of Rt. 1, Manitowoc, died Friday noon at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Milton Schwalbe, also of Rt. 1, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Newtonburg, the Rev. Samuel J. Kugler officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

She was born Charlotte Tech in Manitowoc on March 31, 1892. On Dec. 29, 1915, she was married to Walter Vetting and the couple settled on the present farm home. Her husband preceded her in death in September of 1955. She was a member of the Ladies Aid Society of the church.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Milton Schwalbe and Mrs. Leona Murphy of Rt. 1, Manitowoc, Mrs. O. C. Helgeson of Manitowoc and Mrs. Guy Hoveland of DeSmet, S.D.; two brothers, Elmer and Herbert Tech of Manitowoc and six grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Ninth Street entrance, Manitowoc, after __ p.m. Sunday to 10 a.m. Monday when the body will be taken to the church to lie in state until time of service.
