Mrs. Arthur Vetting, 80, who resided with a son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Kohlbeck, of Rt. 1, Cato, died Monday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Robert Sawall will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.

Mrs. Vetting, nee Frieda Kieselhorst, was born Sept. 15, 1891, in the Town of Newton, daughter of the late John and Minnie Kiesow Kieselhorst. She was married to Arthur Vetting Dec. 5, 1914, in the Town of Newton. The couple farmed in the Town of Newton. Her husband preceded her in death in 1968.

Survivors include a son, Edward, of Charlevoix, Mich.; two daughters, Mrs. Roland Bierman, of Manitowoc Rapids and Mrs. Gordon Kohlbeck, of Rt. 1, Cato; a brother, Edwin of Manitowoc; and a sister, Mrs. Ella Rusch, of Rt. 1, Manitowoc; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded her in death.

Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 5 p.m. Wednesday and then at the church after noon Thursday.
