Mrs. William Vetting, 72, of 1905 South 10th street, died at her home yesterday
afternoon.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 from the home and at
2 o'clock from the First German Evangelical Lutheran church. Burial will be made
in the Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Vetting, nee Ida Bremer, was born December 27, 1867 in the town of Manitowoc
Rapids. She married William Vetting 52 years ago. The couple operated a cheese
factory in the town of Newton. Thirty-eight years ago they moved to a farm in the
town of Manitowoc Rapids and twelve years ago moved to Manitowoc. Mr. Vetting died
six years ago.
Survivors include two daughters, Miss Helen Vetting of Chicago, and Mrw. C. J.
Herwig of Wauwatosa; seven sons, Walter, George, Bruno, Hugo, Reinhart and Harold
of Manitowoc and Victor of Saginaw, Mich.; two sisters, Mrs. Fred Vetter and Mrs.
Olaf Knutson of Valders; and twenty grandchildren.
The body will be taken to the home this afternoon from the Wattawa, Urbanek and
Schlei funeral home.
