ADOLPH VESELY

Adolph Vesely, 80, of Park Lawn Home and formerly of 1716 Menasha Ave., Manitowoc, died early Friday afternoon, November 27, at Park Lawn Home.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at Parkside Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated by the Revs. E.A. Radey and Daniel Felton will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Vesely was born Feb. 6, 1901, at Reedsville, son of the late Anton and Mary Vondrachek Vesely. He married Anna Duchan Nov. 22, 1922, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Antigo. He had been employed with Manitowoc County Highway Department. Mr. Vesely was a member of Eagles Aerie 706 of Manitowoc and St. Vincent DePaul. He was a charter member of Holy Innocents Catholic Church. Mr. and Mrs. Vesely celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1972. She preceded him in death June 9, 1980.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Lawrence and Priscilla Vesely and Raymond and Adeline Vesely of Manitowoc and Eugene and Mathilda Vesely of Anaheim, Calif.; a brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Lillian Vesely of Reedsville; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary and James Polzak, Mrs. Anna Klein, Mrs. Emma Stadler and Mrs. Clara Wallander of Manitowoc, 10 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Four brothers preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Parkside Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. led by Father Radey.
