Adeline B. Vesely, age 84, a resident at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc, formerly of 1842 Rankin Street, Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center.
Adeline was born February 17, 1929 in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of the late August and Florence Knutson Schram. Adeline was a graduate of Lincoln High School with the class of 1947. She had been employed at Foster Needle, Mirro Aluminum and the Manitowoc Health Care Center. On June 17, 1950 she married Raymond Vesely at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Adeline was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and the Left End Bowling Team. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, and dancing.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years: Raymond; four sons: Allan (Rebecca) Vesely, San Rafiel, NM; Kenneth (Mary) Vesely, Manitowoc, WI; Steve (Jean) Vesely, Manitowoc, WI; Randall (Elissa) Vesely, Toledo, OH; four grandchildren; one great granddaughter; one brother: Louis (Betty) Schram, Manitowoc, WI; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: August and Florence Schram; one brother: Eugene who died while serving his country during World War II.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Dave Pleier. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. Entombment of the cremains will be in the Harmony Haven Columbarium at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc, WI. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. Following the funeral services there will be a luncheon held for family and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home.
