He was a telecommunications installer for TSI and had numerous friends and co-workers.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Leroy A. Vaughn, Sr., and Charlie Hayden Chilton.
Survivors include his three beloved children, Leroy Hayden Vaughn, Jr., Savannah Monroe Vaughn, and Leighton Patrick Vaughn; his parents, Leroy A. and Virginia K. Vaughn; two sisters, Sherry L. Smith and Pam K. Brandt; and Sherry's husband, Eddie Joe Smith, and Pam's fiancee', Jesse Lynch; two grandmothers, Sadie Dodson and Laura Vaughn; nieces and nephews are Cassie Jo Latimer, Andrew Brandt, Chantry Davis, Joseph Lynch, Ashley Lynch, and Jessica Lynch; uncles and aunts are, Bill and Joan Vaughn, Jim and Rose Vaughn, Alan and Anita Vaughn of Hanna, WY, Bill and Linda Chilton, Linda Marr and life partner, Rod Cowen, of Eminence, MO; also included are numerous cousins.
Services for Leroy Vaughn were Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at 10:00 AM at Bradford Funeral Home Chapel in Summersville with Rev. Tom Ledgerwood officiating. Burial was in Flatwoods Cemetery under the direction of Bradford Funeral Home. Those serving as pallbearers were Casey Henry, Eddie Brown, Eric Cassinger, Gerald Davis, Jeff Chilton, and Dave Whitfield.
