Mr. Paul J. Urbanek, 83, of 6712 Oliver Avenue South, Richfield, Minnesota, died Saturday morning, June 22, at his residence.
Graveside rites will be 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Rev. William Zimmer will officiate.
Mr. Urbanek was born May 5, 1902, at Manitowoc, son of the late Wenzel and Mary Pruess Urbanek. He was a Manufacturers Representative in furniture and carpeting for many years before his retirement. He married Marie A. Guttmann in Manitowoc. Mr. Urbanek was a member of St. Richards Catholic Church where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday morning.
Survivors include his wife, Marie; five grandchildren, James and John Urbanek, Jean Kraemer, Mary Tschimperle, and Katherine Heinzl of Minneapolis, Minneosta; three great grandchildren and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Marie and Ray Bechtold of San Francisco, California and Jane and Norman Taugher of Madison. He was preceded in death by a son, Paul, in 1971.
Urbanek and Schlei Pfeffer and Reinbold Funeral Home, Manitowoc, assisted the family with local arrangements.
