Mrs. Wenzel C. Urbanek of Flint, Mich, formerly of 724 Cleveland Av., Manitowoc, died Sunday afternoon at Clara Barton Terrace, Flint.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Manitowoc, the Rev. Claude LeClair officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Urbanek, the former Mary Pruss, was born at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Capt. Herman and Maria Pruss. She was married to Mr. Urbanek 60 years ago and he owned and operated a local furniture store. He preceded her in death in 1941.
She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, Flint, and a life member of the Altar Society of Sacred Heart Church, Manitowoc.
Surviving are a son, Paul, of Minneapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Marie) Bechtold of Flint and Mrs. Norman (Jane) Taugher, of Madison; a sister, Mrs. Lydia Hanson, of Brookfield, Wis.; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
