GORDON J. TUSCHL

Gordon J. Tuschl, 72, of 1501 S. 31st St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Monday
morning, December 16, at Holy Family Medical Center, Manitowoc. Funeral services
will be 9:30 am Thursday at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and 10 am at St. Mary
Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by
Rev. Harold Berryman and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Tuschl was born August 19, 1913 in the town of Liberty, Manitowoc County, son
of the late Frank and Ida Gintner Tuschl. He worked for Sears and Roebuck in
Manitowoc for 25 years, managing the Hardware Department, until retiring in 1968.
Mr. Tuschl then worked until the present time at the Holiday House for the past
12 years. He married Priscilla Bauer on October 9, 1937 at Manitowoc. She preceded
him in death in March, 1972. He then married Ruth Tibbets on January 26, 1973 at
St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Mr. Tuschl was a member of Clarks Mills
Sportsmen Club, Seagull Club and St. Mary Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; a son and daughter-in-law, James and Delnora
Tuschl of LaCrosse; a stepson and daughter-in-law, David and Karen Tibbets of
Chattanooga, Tennessee; a daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Robert Gramer of
Colorado Springs, Colorado; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Norbert
Tuschl of Manitowoc, Robert and Marion Tuschl of Manitowoc, Frank and Dorothy
Tuschl of Manitowoc and Jerome and Annette Tuschl of Reedsville; four sisters
and three brothers-in-law, Mrs. Marie Helgeson of Manitowoc, Frances and Carlton
Wickesberg of Seymour, Betty and William Bradesen of Crystal River, Florida and
Patricia and Norbert Ahl of Clarks Mills; a brother-in-law, Otto Severson of
Colorado Springs, Colorado; four grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives
and friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Severson in 1982.
Friends may call at Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 4 pm to 9 pm
Wednesday where a prayer service will be at 7:30 pm led by Father Berryman. A
memorial fund has been established in Mr. Tuschl's name for the Holiday House
of Manitowoc.
