Mrs. John (Rose C.) Turczynski, 87, of 1517 S. 12th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday, February 3, at Family Heritage Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Harold Berryman will celebrate the (sic) of Resurrection and burial Mass (sic) will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Turczynski, nee Rose C. Labinski, was born Aug. 12, 1894, at Chicago, daughter of the late John and Antoinette Gopinski Labinski. She was married to John P. Turczynski May 20, 1920, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Manitowoc. Her husband preceded her in death May 16, 1944.
Survivors include three sons and a daughter-in-law, John Turczynski, Roy and Sally Turczynski and Carl Turczynski of Manitowoc, three daughters and sons-in-law, Lucille and Albert stone and Margaret and Ruben Swoboda of Two Rivers and Dorothy and Elmer Gauthier of Lutz, Fla., two brothers, Anton Labinski and Frnak Labinski of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Andrew (Gertrude) Handl of Manitowoc, 21 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Two sons, Leonard and Richard, three sisters and four brothers preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday. A prayer service will be at 7 p.m.
