Mrs. Christina Hoffman, 96, a resident of Park Lawn Nursing Home, Manitowoc,
died Wednesday, August 6, 1986 at the nursing home. Funeral services will be
11 am Saturday at Wesley United Methodist Church, Manitowoc. Rev. Robert Hayes
will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Hoffman was born November 11, 1889 at Tisch Mills, Wisconsin, daughter of
the late Joseph and Anna Svoboda. She married Elmer Tuesburg on October 10,
1912 at Manitowoc. He preceded her in death in 1935. She later married Steven
Hoffman in 1946. He preceded her in death in 1959. Mrs. Hoffman was a member
of Royal Neighbors and Wesley United Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Chester and Jacquie Tuesburg of
West DePere; a daughter-in-law, Florence Tuesburg of Manitowoc; four grandchildren;
twelve great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; other relatives and
friends. She was preceded in death by eleven brothers and sisters, a son, a
grandson, and a great great grandson.
Friends may call at Wesley United Methodist Church, 9 am Saturday morning to the
time of services. There will be no Friday evening visitation. Harrigan-Parkside
Funeral Home, Manitowoc, assisted the family with the funeral arrangements.
